This coffee is a special prep in which yeast was added during the fermentation process. I bought it because I was so excited about the broker’s tasting notes of pineapple juice, pina colada, and banana. On my first roast, I didn’t get any of those tropical notes. I took my second roast a little darker (to about 2/3 of the way into 1st crack) and still didn’t get them. I gave some to my son to use an espresso, and we were both very excited – we got a LOT of fruit, and there were definitely some of the tropical notes. 87.5
You may need to tweak the roast a bit, especially if you roast light. And overall, it’s probably better suited to an espresso, but the tropical notes are there.
