Ana Maria Donneys is a young producer that comes from a family of coffee producers. She is the 5th generation of her coffee producing family. She is a Q grader and co-founder of IWCA Colombia, (International Women Coffee Alliance). Ana has also worked with Edwin Norena of Campo Hermosa who is also well known for producing exceptional coffees.
This lot undergoes a 48-hour washed process, combining both anaerobic fermentation and oxygen-rich fermentation to enhance the coffee’s clarity, developing a clean, citric acidity while maintaining a creamy body. Carefully selected Caturra and Castillo cherries, grown at high-altitude in Quindio contribute to its sweetness and bright complexity.
The result is a long-lasting, silky-bodied cup with fresh fruit acidity and a crisp finish. This balance of processing techniques and terroir-driven flavours makes L48 coffee an excellent choice for roasters looking for clarity, structure, and complexity in their brews.
