Description
This coffee is from the Aramo station near the village of Aramo located in the highlands of Yirgcaheffe, within the Southern Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples Region (SNNPR) of Ethiopia. The station is privately owned with roughly 800 contributing farmers and is located at over 2000 masl. This coffee is finished at the CPWE – Addis Ababa dry mill.
I got brown sugar and red fruit in the aroma. In the flavor, I noted that it was ‘juicy’ with raspberry and cherry undertones. It’s got a med-light body and for a natural, it’s got a relatively bright acidity (thus the ‘juicy’ in the flavor notes. It’s fairly complex with a sweet, medium length finish.
